First off, you can stop shopping around for a photographer as I am recommending the very best. You would be absolutely crazy not to hire Bob and Colleen of Shooterbug Photography and Videography to record all the events of your special day. Simply put, Colleen and Bob were beyond fabulous and exceeded our expectations. Their customer service is exceptional. They were always super fast in their response to any questions I may have had, regardless of how insignificant they may have seemed. They invited us to meet them at their studio in Berwick to view samples of their work and to go over the details of our wedding day shoot. They really took time to listen to us as to how we envisioned our pictures/video and were really open to our ideas. They offered helpful advice to ensure our photo shoot went as smooth as planned and helped alleviate our stress. Throughout the entire day they made us feel comfortable and at ease. They have an amazing ability to capture all the emotional elements of the day without ever becoming intrusive. They worked their cameras continuously and cheerfully fulfilled all special requests. They were always warm and friendly and at the same time very professional. We received our photos and videos on time as promised. The photos and videos were so amazing that we were left speechless. They captured the emotions and excitement of our day. There was a perfect blend of posed, spontaneous, creative and journalistic style photos and each of them are beautiful. We were amazed at the quantity of photos (more than 1100) that were taken. Having two photographers present was a real asset. This added many creative photos to our package. They got multiple angles on pictures and they were able to catch two different actions that were happening simultaneously which would have been missed if there was only one photographer. The video footage that Bob recorded covered all the events and highlights of our amazing day. The professionally produced full screen DVDs’ that we received were presented with our pictures attractively displayed on the covers. The recorded material was presented in an artistically arranged format and the addition of our favorite music set into the background added so much to the visual and emotional content. Bob was able to capture on video the essence of our entire day. We have received many compliments form our family and friends who have seen our beautiful wedding pictures. We highly recommend Shooterbug Photography and Videography. They also have a great new section on their website that anyone can copy and print. It’s a complete photography shoot checklist. I just wanted to personally thank you for the wonderful job you guys have done with our photos as well as with our wedding video. We can not begin to tell you how pleased we are with them. That is exactly what Angela was looking for. You got a lot of pics we never even knew you got. We will definitely recommend shooterbug to everyone who asks. It was like you guys weren't even there taking pictures, you just blended right into the wedding.
When we were watching our wedding video it was like we were reliving that day all over again, all the feelings and emotions from that day just came back, the tears the laughter. That is exactly what I wanted. So thank you very Much, you guys did a fantastic JOB!!!

We couldn't wait to view the pictures of Angela's and Dean's wedding day. I spent the next couple of hours laughing, crying and in a state of euphoria as I reviewed the amazing photos of our daughter's special day. You captured the emotion and joyfulness of this most happy event. As I mentioned before, I had goose bumps when I first viewed the several "teaser" photos that were sent to Angela while she was still in Halifax.
We were astonished at the number of photographs that were taken. Not only was it a pleasure to relive the events of the day through your photographic diary, but we were also able to view the other special moments that were happening around us at the same time. We may have missed out otherwise, if it were not for your photographic talent.
We were also amazed at your ability to capture so many special moments so unobtrusively and naturally. You carried out your work professionally but at the same time in a personable manner which helped us all to relax.
We enjoyed our visits to Berwick and the ShooterBug Studio where we always felt welcomed and comfortable in discussing the details of our daughter's upcoming wedding shoot.
The fact that our daughter was planning her wedding over long distance from her home in Edmonton, and we live in Dartmouth, never posed a barrier as you were always very efficient and timely in communicating all details to us.
Colleen and Bob, you really know how to capture the essence of the occasion. We were so fortunate that you were available on our daughter's wedding day and grateful for the super job you did in covering the entire day. You are both truly gifted in your art and an exceptionable couple. Thanks to you, we will have the many happy memories of our daughter's wedding to cherish forever.

Dear Colleen and Bob,
We would like to thank you both for using the talent you possess and the way in which you are able to capture the very spirit and soul of your subjects. After Heather's wedding I waited with nervous anticipation wondering how the pictures would turn out, as I personally hate having my picture taken. The day I clicked onto your website and there were the pictures from Heather and Andrew's day, I was mesmerized by your magical slideshow! While waiting for the wedding CD to arrive, I had visited your web site 3 to 4 times a day and each time I am carried back in time and relive the day through your magical pictures!
I say magical because your have captured the "magic" and the spirit of the day that Heather and Andrew so carefully planned. Through the lens you captured their personalities and their depth of their love for one another. You appeared and seemed to blend into the atmosphere of the wedding itself and virtually snapped the tone and feeling of the day... a lovely summer day in a backyard setting shared with family and friends who mean the world to us. Usually the formal picture taking at weddings seems to take hours and hours and one wonders if the photographer has run away with the bride and groom! I can honestly say that I wasn't even aware you were taking all the pictures, as you both have such a gifted talent to be able to work with such skill and in a quick, quiet, unnoticed flair and fashion.
Now having received the wedding CD, I look at your pictorial story of the wedding day, I sit in awe of the slideshow you created and get such a warm, all of the emotions of the day and that satisfied and happy feeling and not forget, the usual tear in my eye at the end of the show....you have truly wonderful insightful and natural ability to take "heart and soul" photos. We are so thankful that Heather and Andrew chose you to "shoot" the wedding story. I believe there are reasons for everything that happen and because our daughter Heather is a very sensitive and creative person and as she dabbles in photography herself, she was obviously meant to find you, because you would be able to capture the very essence of her very special day.
