Hi Bob, Adrian and I got our album!! We just picked it up on Sunday as the postal hours didn't match with our work hours during the week. We weren't expecting it this soon at all. We opened it together and when we saw the black satin bag, we both looked at each other as if to say "This is out of our league!" Oh my goodness, we love it. What a special keepsake. I think we'll display it at our wedding and thus, a great word about Shooterbug will be spread around! Again, HUGE thanks for everything - this is very meaningful to us,

Colleen and Bob,
The photos are exquisite. There are so many that we didn't even know that you were taking! What we love about the photos is that everyone is so natural, and everyone looks so happy. You caught the spontaneous moments so well. Our favorite pictures are the photos where we're laughing, and what's amazing is that each of those photos is attached to a great memory of the day. We can look at them and say "I remember that! (But I didn't know they got it on film!)"
When I look at the picture of Laurie and I laughing in front of the gazebo, I'll always remember his grandmother shouting out during the vows "I'm here ta tell ya!" instead of "we do." The ones of Laurie and Jeff on the beach holding hands are hilarious, and you captured the fools that they are so well! I laughed out loud when I saw my sister in the pictures where we're jumping. She looks like a water nymph with her dress flying through the air like that. I couldn't believe the things that you were able to capture in a 10 second jump! (Laurie really got some air in those ones!)
Aside from the pictures that made us and our families laugh, you also captured the beauty and joy of the day with such elegance and professionalism. The intimate photos of Laurie and I on the beach and the wharf captured who we are, what we feel about each other and how much fun we have together, and most importantly, where we come from. We will cherish these photos forever.
People commented that you were everywhere, without being intrusive, and that you had great senses of humour, and were so good at making them feel comfortable.
We knew from the start that we had made the right choice choosing you both to take our wedding photos, and that choice was confirmed 100 times over when we saw our pictures.

You captured our special day with professionalism, yet made all of us have fun in the process. We are so pleased and happy with our pictures and video. They brought us back to our wedding day, with all the joys and emotions of that day. It felt so natural as you moved among us, taking pictures and video. After seeing the pictures, we didn't realize you were where you were. It was a wonderful surprise for us, when we saw all the beautiful photographs taken that day. Friends, who could not make it to our wedding, saw our slideshow and felt as if they were there in person. The memories of our wedding will live on through our pictures and video.
Colleen & Bob were quite flexible, allowing us to stop and take a picture with Theodore Tugboat!!! They were very conscious of the time, in guaranteeing that we had ample time at each photo stop. They worked very well with our two flower girls and one ring bearer.

Hi there Deborah... "At Last" was our first dance and I'm so glad that you have fond memories of that day even though I'm sure that you were exhausted! My parents just returned from visiting my Aunt and Uncle in Peggy's Cove, NS and were telling me comments that my Uncle had made about the intimate photoshoot. My Uncle was one of the archeologists at Fort Anne that was involved in excavating/restoring the grounds and who also discovered the remains of a British Soldier. He was very touched and pleased that we chose to utilize the grounds of Fort Anne and as a person who dabbles (quite heavily) in photography appreciated your artistic touches. I just wanted to share with you a specific example of how your work and the pictures that you took have impacted our lives.
You are extremely talented at your job and we are thoroughly enjoying our wedding pictures (as are the rest of our family and friends). We have had nothing but wonderful comments on the pictures and those that weren't able to attend the wedding were able to see what a fantastic day that it was.
My Mother also said that you worked tirelessly and couldn't believe after 6 long hours that you were as exuberant at the end as you were when she met you at the beginning of the day. Adam and I feel that our wedding pictures were so outstanding that we would appreciate you including some of them in your wedding previews online as well as our comments about your work. Hi Colleen... OMG! All we can say is WOW!!! We’re still in awe! They’re extraordinary, beautiful, magical, wonderful, fabulous, amazing! We have enjoyed the day all over again (quite a few times, I might add) through the images you so intimately captured. We have received the DVD's and CDs and have been sifting through all the wonderful photos! There are so many and they all reflect the wonderful day we had and even our personalities. We loved how you were able to deal with the changing light and get our shots on the shore in Digby! They turned out so well. Everyone who has come to visit LOVES the slideshow... it is a great way to show people something short and encompasses the entire day. The music incorporated into it makes it great to show family and friends. We had such a great day and were so glad we choose you and Bob to take our photos. We initially picked you because you were easy to email and responded promptly but learned as we approached the wedding that you are very detail oriented and know your photography so well that it set us at ease. We know our minister had restrictions on the wedding photos and that is why we are SO happy with them. It amazed us the photos you got without moving in the church! Our families and friends mentioned that they did not even notice we had photographers at the church!! First off, you can stop shopping around for a photographer as I am recommending the very best. You would be absolutely crazy not to hire Bob and Colleen of Shooterbug Photography and Videography to record all the events of your special day. Simply put, Colleen and Bob were beyond fabulous and exceeded our expectations. Their customer service is exceptional. They were always super fast in their response to any questions I may have had, regardless of how insignificant they may have seemed. They invited us to meet them at their studio in Berwick to view samples of their work and to go over the details of our wedding day shoot. They really took time to listen to us as to how we envisioned our pictures/video and were really open to our ideas. They offered helpful advice to ensure our photo shoot went as smooth as planned and helped alleviate our stress. Throughout the entire day they made us feel comfortable and at ease. They have an amazing ability to capture all the emotional elements of the day without ever becoming intrusive. They worked their cameras continuously and cheerfully fulfilled all special requests. They were always warm and friendly and at the same time very professional. We received our photos and videos on time as promised. The photos and videos were so amazing that we were left speechless. They captured the emotions and excitement of our day. There was a perfect blend of posed, spontaneous, creative and journalistic style photos and each of them are beautiful. We were amazed at the quantity of photos (more than 1100) that were taken. Having two photographers present was a real asset. This added many creative photos to our package. They got multiple angles on pictures and they were able to catch two different actions that were happening simultaneously which would have been missed if there was only one photographer. The video footage that Bob recorded covered all the events and highlights of our amazing day. The professionally produced full screen DVDs’ that we received were presented with our pictures attractively displayed on the covers. The recorded material was presented in an artistically arranged format and the addition of our favorite music set into the background added so much to the visual and emotional content. Bob was able to capture on video the essence of our entire day. We have received many compliments form our family and friends who have seen our beautiful wedding pictures. We highly recommend Shooterbug Photography and Videography. They also have a great new section on their website that anyone can copy and print. It’s a complete photography shoot checklist. We couldn't wait to view the pictures of Angela's and Dean's wedding day. I spent the next couple of hours laughing, crying and in a state of euphoria as I reviewed the amazing photos of our daughter's special day. You captured the emotion and joyfulness of this most happy event. As I mentioned before, I had goose bumps when I first viewed the several "teaser" photos that were sent to Angela while she was still in Halifax.
We were astonished at the number of photographs that were taken. Not only was it a pleasure to relive the events of the day through your photographic diary, but we were also able to view the other special moments that were happening around us at the same time. We may have missed out otherwise, if it were not for your photographic talent.
We were also amazed at your ability to capture so many special moments so unobtrusively and naturally. You carried out your work professionally but at the same time in a personable manner which helped us all to relax.

After Heather's wedding I waited with nervous anticipation wondering how the pictures would turn out, as I personally hate having my picture taken. The day I clicked onto your website and there were the pictures from Heather and Andrew's day, I was mesmerized by your magical slideshow! While waiting for the wedding CD to arrive, I had visited your web site 3 to 4 times a day and each time I am carried back in time and relive the day through your magical pictures!
I say magical because your have captured the "magic" and the spirit of the day that Heather and Andrew so carefully planned. Through the lens you captured their personalities and their depth of their love for one another. You appeared and seemed to blend into the atmosphere of the wedding itself and virtually snapped the tone and feeling of the day... a lovely summer day in a backyard setting shared with family and friends who mean the world to us.
